Job Description
We are looking for a qualified and dedicated Assistant Professor – Pharmacology to join our Pharmacy Department. The candidate will be responsible for teaching Pharmacology to B.Pharm students, conducting practical sessions, student mentoring and supporting departmental academic activities.
Eligibility
- B.Pharm + M.Pharm in Pharmacology – Mandatory
- Candidates must meet the applicable PCI / university / regulatory norms.
- Teaching experience in a Pharmacy College will be preferred.
- Freshers with good academic records may also be considered, subject to applicable norms.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Pharmacology subjects to B.Pharm students.
- Conduct Pharmacology practicals and laboratory sessions.
- Prepare lectures, lesson plans, assignments and examinations.
- Evaluate students and maintain academic records.
- Guide and mentor students.
- Maintain practical and laboratory documentation.
- Participate in seminars, workshops and departmental activities.
- Assist in academic planning and accreditation-related documentation.
- Contribute to research, publications and other academic activities.
Required Skills
- Strong subject knowledge in Pharmacology.
- Good teaching and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct practical/laboratory sessions effectively.
- Good computer and documentation skills.
- Student-focused and professional approach.
Preferred
- 1–5 years of teaching experience in a Pharmacy College.
- Research publications will be an added advantage.
- Candidates available to join immediately or at short notice will be preferred.
