HYDRAULIC ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN (5+ Years)
Qualifications: ITI (Industrial Training Institute) certificate, Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
Highly skilled in installing hydraulic parts, power pack, piping and assembly, repair and maintenance of pressurized fluid systems, such as pumps, cylinders, valves, and hoses, essential for light and heavy-duty machinery in marine industries, follow technical drawings to assemble components, ensure proper alignment, conduct testing, and perform troubleshooting to ensure safe, efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly & Installation: Assemble hydraulic components (valves, pumps, motors, cylinders) and install hydraulic systems, ensuring secure, leak-free, and aligned connections.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Operate, test to verify performance, diagnose faults, and perform repairs.
- Final Test : Perform systematic testing of equipment, including replacing damaged hoses, seals, and hydraulic components.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to strict safety standards and regulations when working with high-pressure systems.
Requirements & Skills
- Technical Skills: Ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints, knowledge of hydraulic circuits, pneumatics, and precision fitting.
- Tool Proficiency: Expertise in using hand tools, power tools, torque wrenches, and measurement equipment (e.g., callipers, micrometres).
