1. Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Software Developer with strong experience in backend and frontend web development. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, maintaining, and supporting web applications, APIs, microservices, and internal software platforms.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with PHP, SQL, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, REST APIs, and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). Basic knowledge of JavaScript and Python will be an added advantage.
The role also involves troubleshooting existing applications and platforms, identifying technical issues, optimizing system performance, and providing technical support for internally developed and third-party software solutions.
2. Key ResponsibilitiesSoftware & Web Application Development
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain web applications and software solutions.
- Develop dynamic and responsive websites using PHP, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap.
- Develop and maintain backend functionality using PHP and SQL.
- Build clean, modular, scalable, and maintainable code following OOP principles.
- Maintain and enhance existing applications, websites, and internal software platforms.
- Debug and resolve application issues and technical defects.
API & Integration
- Design, develop, test, and maintain RESTful APIs.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services into company platforms.
- Ensure API integrations are secure, reliable, and properly documented.
- Troubleshoot API and integration-related issues.
Database Management
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and database integrations.
- Work with databases such as MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Optimize queries and database operations for improved performance.
- Assist in maintaining data integrity and application-level database security.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues affecting company websites, applications, and internal platforms.
- Provide technical troubleshooting and support for existing software solutions.
- Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues within the FinMentor platform, whether the issue relates to internally developed code or software developed by an external development agency.
- Review existing code and assist external developers/agencies in identifying and fixing technical issues where required.
- Monitor application performance and recommend improvements.
Maintenance & Optimization
- Maintain, update, and improve existing applications and internal software tools.
- Optimize applications for performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
- Conduct testing and debugging before deploying updates.
- Ensure existing systems remain functional and compatible with required technologies.
Project & Task Management
- Prioritize and schedule technical deliverables according to business requirements and agreed working hours.
- Collaborate with designers, developers, management, external agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Provide technical input during project planning and implementation.
- Complete assigned tasks within agreed timelines.
- Perform other reasonable duties and responsibilities assigned by management that are consistent with the role, skills, experience, and agreed working hours.

- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in PHP development – Required.
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in SQL/database development – Required.
- Experience developing and maintaining dynamic websites and web applications.
- Experience working with REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Experience troubleshooting and maintaining existing software applications.
5. Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field preferred.
- B.Tech in Computer Science/IT or related field preferred.
- Certification in Web Development, PHP, Laravel, or related technologies will be an added advantage.

8. Role Objective
The primary objective of this role is to ensure the development, maintenance, reliability, and continuous improvement of the Company's web applications, APIs, internal software platforms, and related technical systems, while providing effective technical support and troubleshooting whenever required.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
