1.Sourcing & Strategy Execution:
- Mass Recruitment: Own and drive end-to-end bulk hiring for Last Mile operations (Delivery Boys/Executives, Hub Operations staff).
- Sourcing Channels: Diversify sourcing strategies using field recruitment, local community targeting, job fairs, employee referrals, and specialized blue-collar hiring platforms.
- Vendor Management: Onboard, manage, and evaluate third-party staffing vendors and consultancies to ensure a steady pipeline of candidates.
2. Operational Excellence
- Funnel Optimization: Track recruitment funnels from sourcing to onboarding, minimizing dropouts and optimizing the cost-per-hire.
- Background Verification (BGV): Ensure 100% compliance with Flipkart’s internal standards for documentation and background checks before deployment.
- Peak Season Planning: Strategize and build a buffer talent pool to handle sudden volume spikes and festive season demands (e.g., BBD).
3. Stakeholder & Regional Alignment
- Business Partnering: Partner closely with Hub Managers, Last Mile Operations Leads, and Regional Managers to understand real-time manpower gaps.
- Market Intelligence: Keep track of localized salary trends, competitor benchmarking, and regional labor laws to keep Flipkart attractive in the blue-collar market.
# Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 6 to 10 years of proven experience in bulk/volume hiring, ideally within E-commerce (Last Mile), Quick Commerce, Logistics, FMCG, or Gig-economy aggregators.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any stream; an MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or Operations is a plus.
- Field Experience: Comfortable with on-the-field recruitment tactics and traveling to local hubs/pockets for mass drives.
- Language Skills: Proficient in English and highly fluent in the local regional language to communicate effectively with the frontline workforce.
- Data Driven: Basic to intermediate skills in Excel/Google Sheets to track daily hiring dashboards and metrics.

- Manpower Fulfillment Rate: Percentage of open slots filled vs. the actual requirement across hubs.
- Time-to-Hire: Speed of converting a lead to an active onboarded delivery partner.
- Attrition/Retention management: Partnering with operations to ensure early-stage attrition (0-30 days) is minimized.
- Sourcing Cost Optimization: Balancing vendor payouts vs. direct field sourcing to keep costs low.
