Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced MERN Stack Developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience to join our development team in Ahmedabad.
The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js, along with experience building scalable, secure, and high-performance web applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using the MERN stack.
- Build responsive and user-friendly interfaces using React.js.
- Develop robust backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js.
- Design and optimize databases using MongoDB.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers, product managers, QA engineers, and other developers.
- Integrate third-party APIs and external services.
- Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Identify and resolve application performance, scalability, and production issues.
- Conduct code reviews and follow software development best practices.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
- Ensure application security, reliability, and performance.
- Troubleshoot bugs and provide timely technical solutions.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical decision-making.
Required Skills
- 6+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- React.js
- Node.js
- Express.js
- MongoDB
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- Strong experience developing RESTful APIs.
- Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web development.
- Experience with Git/GitHub/GitLab and version control.
- Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, ES6+, asynchronous programming, and API integration.
- Experience with debugging, performance optimization, and production support.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Good to Have
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Experience with Redux / Redux Toolkit or other state-management libraries.
- Knowledge of Next.js.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Familiarity with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with authentication and authorization such as JWT/OAuth.
- Understanding of microservices and event-driven architecture.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Exposure to cloud-based application deployment and monitoring.
