Process Standardization
Document current engineering processes, identify gaps, and define standardized work processes, tools, and templates across Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Software domains.
Establish revision control, versioning, and approval workflows; standardize engineering design and calculation software across all world areas, with training as needed.
Build and maintain a library of international and national measurement standards, kept current with new releases and accessible to all world areas.
Maintain customer-specific requirement summaries (e.g., Shell DEP, Exxon GP, Petronas PTS, ADNOC, ConocoPhillips) and share engineering journals for major updates and lessons learned.
Technical Governance & Standards Ownership
Own and maintain the global engineering process and tools library, including technical standards, design criteria, and calculation methods.
Set engineering design-integrity and technical-quality criteria; define what good looks like for engineering deliverables across domains.
Provide the engineering standards and criteria against which regional teams execute, partnering with PMO Interface Leads who own local process compliance and auditing.
Collaboration & Knowledge Management
Establish multidisciplinary collaboration frameworks that reduce handoff delays.
Create feedback loops between proposal teams, solution architects, and execution teams.
Develop knowledge management systems to capture and reapply lessons learned.
Innovation & Digital Transformation
Support modular design and virtual design/construction capabilities.
Lead global standardization committees for software, mechanical, and electrical engineering.
Drive AI and digital initiatives to improve process efficiency and quality.
Training & Change Management
Develop training materials and conduct sessions on new processes and tools.
Engage stakeholders across hubs to drive adoption and gather feedback for improvement.
