Job Requirements
Job Purpose
To ensure timely procurement, planning, quality verification, bagging, and supply of gemstones for Proto, MTO (Made-to-Order), and New Product Development requirements while coordinating with Design, Merchandising, Jewellery Vendors, and Gemstone Suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute Proto & MTO gemstone requirements based on approved BOM.
- Coordinate with Design, Merchandising, Planning, and Jewellery Vendors for gemstone requirements.
- Source gemstones from approved vendor partners within committed timelines.
- Ensure gemstone quality, size, colour, and quantity match approved specifications.
- Monitor procurement lead time and proactively communicate potential delays.
- Coordinate gemstone bagging and kit preparation for Proto and MTO orders.
- Maintain daily tracking of Proto/MTO orders and delivery commitments.
- Support alternate sourcing for urgent customer and business requirements.
- Coordinate with QA for inspection and quality approvals.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of Proto and MTO gemstones.
- Ensure ERP transactions are completed accurately and on time.
- Follow SOPs related to procurement, in warding, bagging, and dispatch.
- Participate in new collection launches and product development activities.
- Drive continuous improvement in Proto supply lead time.

Qualification
- Graduate / Gemmology / Supply Chain
Experience
- 2–5 years in Gemstone Procurement, Jewellery Manufacturing, or Supply Chain
