Zamms Closet is looking for an organized, analytical, and highly creative Social Media Manager Intern to join our team. If you love the business side of social media—tracking growth, planning content calendars, and understanding what makes an audience click "Shop Now"—this role is for you.
While our content creators focus on making the videos, you will be the strategist who ensures that content reaches the right audience, drives traffic to our Next.js e-commerce storefront, and builds a dedicated fashion community.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Scheduling & Planning: Plan, maintain, and execute an organized social media content calendar across Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Facebook to ensure a consistent brand presence.
- Strategy & Analytics: Monitor daily and weekly performance metrics (engagement rates, reach, click-through rates). Analyze what works, and turn those data points into actionable strategies for future campaigns.
- Community Management: Actively engage with our audience by responding to comments, direct messages, and brand mentions to build strong customer relationships and community loyalty.
- E-commerce Alignment: Coordinate closely with the product and creation teams to align social media postings with inventory updates, seasonal collection drops, and marketing goals.
- Influencer & Collaboration Outreach: Help identify and coordinate with micro-influencers and creators whose style aligns with the Zamms Closet aesthetic for potential collaborations.
Qualifications & Skills
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, Fashion Business, or a related field.
- A strong understanding of major social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest) and their respective analytics tools.
- Familiarity with social media management and scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Buffer, Meta Business Suite).
- Excellent copywriter skills with the ability to write engaging captions that match our brand’s voice.
- Basic understanding of e-commerce concepts and how social media funnels traffic to an online storefront.
