The Service Sales Engineer (Electrical Services) will be responsible for managing service-based inquiries, preparing competitive quotations, and ensuring smooth coordination between customers and the execution team.
This role requires strong technical knowledge in electrical substations, relay testing, transformer commissioning, and field testing services, along with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Inquiry Handling & Service Offer Preparation:
- Understand customer requirements related to Relay Testing, Transformer Testing, Circuit Breaker Testing, Generator & Motor Testing, Power System Studies, and Substation Commissioning.
- Identify scope, technical specifications, and service deliverables.
- Preparing & sending quotations
- Handle customer objections, discuss pricing and terms, and close deals.
- Ensure service offerings are aligned with company profit margins and customer expectations.
2. Technical Coordination & Vendor Management
- Collaborate with engineering & execution teams to define technical scope and feasibility.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors if subcontracting is needed.
3. Customer Relationship Management & Order Processing
- Act as the first point of contact for service-related inquiries.
- Address technical and commercial queries professionally.
4. Sales Targets & Reporting
- Work towards a structured sales target for service offerings.
- Focus on revenue generation through consistent follow-ups and closing deals.
5. Business Development & Market Expansion
- Develop new business opportunities in utilities, industries, electrical contractors, and panel manufacturers.
- Engage with EPC contractors, government utilities, and industrial clients.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of electrical substations, protection relays, and testing procedures.
- Knowledge of numerical relay testing & commissioning processes.
- Familiarity with power system studies and electrical network analysis.
- Qualification: B.E. Electrical/Electronics (Mandatory)
- Experience: 1 to 7 Years in Service Sales (Electrical Services preferred)
- Location: Navi Mumbai Kharghar (Head Office)
- Salary: 4.5 - 9 LPA (Depend on Interview rounds)
