About the Role
Sihrsalt is looking for a talented and creative Cinematographer to bring stories to life through exceptional visuals. You'll be responsible for planning, shooting, and capturing high-quality video content for a variety of digital platforms, brand campaigns, advertisements, and social media. If you have a strong eye for composition, lighting, and visual storytelling, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute high-quality video shoots for clients and internal projects.
- Operate professional cinema cameras, lenses, gimbals, and other filming equipment.
- Design and set up lighting to achieve the desired visual style.
- Collaborate with directors, creative strategists, and production teams to bring concepts to life.
- Frame shots creatively while maintaining technical excellence.
- Scout locations and recommend suitable filming setups.
- Ensure proper camera settings, audio coordination, and equipment maintenance during shoots.
- Adapt to different shooting environments, including indoor, outdoor, studio, and on-location productions.
- Stay updated with industry trends, filming techniques, and new camera technologies.
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience as a Cinematographer or Director of Photography.
- Strong understanding of camera operations, composition, lighting, and color theory.
- Hands-on experience with professional camera systems such as Sony, Canon, Blackmagic, RED, or similar.
- Proficiency in using gimbals, sliders, drones (preferred), and other filmmaking equipment.
- Excellent storytelling instincts and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- A portfolio or showreel showcasing previous work is mandatory.
Nice to Have
- Basic knowledge of video editing and color grading.
- Experience in commercial, corporate, social media, or branded content production.
- Drone operation certification or experience.
