Role Overview
We are looking for a creative and proactive Digital Marketing Executive to manage our social media presence and support digital marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will help plan and execute social media strategies, create engaging content, and capture photos and videos during in-house events to keep our online presence authentic, timely, and engaging.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Manage and update social media platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and X.
- Assist in developing simple, platform-appropriate social media strategies to grow reach and engagement.
- Maintain a monthly social media content calendar in coordination with the marketing team.
- Coordinate with the content writer and design team to schedule and publish approved posts.
- Monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and mentions in a professional, brand-aligned tone.
Event & Campaign Promotion
- Assist in promoting internal initiatives (e.g., hackathons, team events, CSR activities) and external achievements (product launches).
- Collaborate with different departments to gather inputs and ensure timely digital coverage.
Photography & Videography
- Shoot photos and videos during in-house events, celebrations, and team activities for use across social media.
- Capture quality headshots for birthday, anniversary, and highlight posts.
- Edit basic photo/video content for reels, highlights, and posts, or liaise with designers for advanced edits.
- Ensure event coverage is timely so content can be published while it's still relevant.
Engagement & Trends Monitoring
- Monitor platform insights to track engagement and reach.
- Keep an eye on social media trends, hashtags, and formats to suggest ideas for improving reach and engagement.
- Stay updated with new platform features and best practices.
Internal Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with the content writer, SEO specialist, email marketing specialist, and designers to ensure consistency in messaging.
- Share inputs from social feedback with the broader marketing team to help refine strategy.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- A certification or professional course in Digital Marketing will be an added advantage.
