1. Fire Safety Maintenance & Inspections
o To conduct daily safety checks on fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, sprinklers, alarms, and hydrants etc.
o To ensure all hospital /Properties area comply with fire codes, with focus on high-risk zones (ICU, pharmacy, operating theatres etc.).
o To provide training to OSA/external customer staff.
o To provide report or prompt information over surveillance and vigilance observations and finding as per as per prevalent practices/policy.
2. Emergency Preparedness & Incident Management
o To lead emergency response during fire/security incidents.
o To Conduct fire drills and ensure smooth evacuation procedures.
o To ensure Investigate fire-related incidents and implement corrective actions.
3. Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
o To ensure compliance with fire codes, State & National standards, and legal requirements.
o To ensure Assess hospital fire hazards, evaluate risks, and implement additional safety measures.
4. Preventive & Protective Measures
o To enforce fire safety protocols and security measures to prevent sabotage and accidents.
o To ensure and recommend corrective actions to mitigate identified risks.
5. Security & Access Control
o To ensure and Monitor CCTV, access control systems, and emergency alarms.
o To enforce proper access control procedures for staff, visitors and vehicles.
o To monitor Assets and property protection safeguard company assets and equipment’s.
o To respond promptly to security breaches or suspicious activity.
6. Incident Reporting & Documentation
o To maintain logs of fire drills, safety inspections, and emergency response reports.
o To ensure Generate reports on security and fire safety concerns.
o To ensure Assign duties and ensure coverage of all key areas.
o To maintain duty rosters and leave schedule.
7. Customer Service & Conflict Resolution
o To ensure Address safety-related concerns of hospital staff, patients, and visitors.
o To Support problem-solving efforts related to fire incidents and security breaches.
o To ensure & conduct mock drills as per JCI/NABH and respond to all emergency code (RED/ORANGE/BLACK/PINK /BROWN/GREEN/YELLOW/BLUEPURPLE/VOILET as per prevalent practices/policy
· Essential height criteria- Minimum 5.8 Feet and above & Weight in proportion to height
· Certified in fire safety (e.g., Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety or equivalent).
· Experience in fire prevention, education, and inspection processes.
· Ability to work in rotational shifts.
