About the Role
We are looking for a Streaming Operations & Technical Support Executive to manage and monitor live sports streams, troubleshoot technical issues, assist customers with stream setup, and ensure uninterrupted broadcast operations. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with live systems, networks, cameras, and streaming platforms while providing timely support to clients.
Key Responsibilities
Live Stream Monitoring
- Monitor ongoing sports broadcasts and streaming health.
- Identify and resolve streaming issues in real time.
- Ensure stream quality, uptime, and smooth viewer experience.
- Escalate critical issues to engineering teams when required.
Technical Support & Customer Success
- Assist customers in starting and managing live streams.
- Provide remote troubleshooting support for cameras, encoders, internet connectivity, and streaming workflows.
- Guide clients through setup and operational best practices.
- Maintain communication with customers during live events.
System Operations
- Monitor platform dashboards, recording systems, and analytics pipelines.
- Verify successful stream initiation, recording, and data capture.
- Conduct pre-match system checks and post-match reporting.
- Document incidents, root causes, and resolutions.
Network & Infrastructure Troubleshooting
- Diagnose internet connectivity, bandwidth, and network-related issues.
- Understand router, switch, Wi-Fi, and LAN configurations.
- Coordinate with field teams and customers to resolve infrastructure problems.
- Monitor system performance and recommend operational improvements.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in technical support, NOC operations, streaming operations, IT support, or broadcast operations.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals:
- IP addresses
- DNS
- Routers and switches
- LAN/WAN
- Wi-Fi troubleshooting
- Bandwidth and latency concepts
- Familiarity with live streaming platforms and video workflows.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication skills for customer interactions.
- Ability to work during sports events, including evenings and weekends when required.
- Interest in sports and sports technology is a strong plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with RTMP, HLS, SRT, OBS, vMix, or similar streaming technologies.
- Experience monitoring live broadcasts or video systems.
- Basic understanding of Linux, networking tools, and remote diagnostics.
- Experience working in a NOC (Network Operations Center), broadcast operations, or SaaS support environment.
