Job Summary
We are looking for a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant (CA) to manage and oversee the company's finance, accounting, taxation, statutory compliance, costing, inventory accounting, and financial reporting activities.
The ideal candidate should have experience in manufacturing/automobile/EV assembly or a similar industry and strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, audits, costing, inventory, and MIS reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise day-to-day accounting and finance operations.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure timely GST, TDS, Income Tax and other statutory compliances.
- Handle GST reconciliation, tax assessments, notices and related documentation.
- Coordinate with statutory auditors, tax consultants, banks and government authorities.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, cash-flow statements, budgets and financial analysis.
- Monitor accounts payable, receivable, bank reconciliation and general ledger.
- Manage and monitor inventory accounting for raw materials, components, spare parts, WIP and finished vehicles.
- Review and control production and assembly costs.
- Assist in product costing, BOM costing and profitability analysis.
- Monitor purchase, sales, stock and financial transactions for proper accounting.
- Analyze manufacturing expenses and identify opportunities for cost reduction.
- Establish and monitor internal financial controls.
- Ensure proper documentation and authorization of financial transactions.
- Support management with financial analysis and business decision-making.
- Supervise the accounts team and ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and statutory requirements.
