Job Title: Interior Estimation Executive Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented Interior Estimation Executive to prepare accurate cost estimates for residential and commercial interior projects. The ideal candidate should be able to analyze drawings, prepare BOQs, coordinate with vendors, and ensure estimates are competitive and aligned with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Study architectural and interior drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Prepare detailed BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and cost estimates.
- Calculate material quantities and project costs accurately.
- Obtain quotations from vendors and subcontractors and compare pricing.
- Coordinate with the design, procurement, and execution teams for estimation requirements.
- Prepare project budgets and submit quotations within the required timelines.
- Review drawings and identify discrepancies affecting project costs.
- Update material and labor rate databases regularly.
- Assist in value engineering by suggesting cost-effective alternatives without compromising quality.
- Support the sales team with technical costing during client discussions.
- Maintain estimation records and documentation for future reference.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in interior estimation (Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also apply).
Required Skills
- Knowledge of residential and commercial interior materials.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior drawings.
- Strong understanding of BOQ preparation and quantity take-off.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software (preferred).
- Good analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in modular kitchens, wardrobes, false ceilings, furniture, flooring, painting, electrical, plumbing, and other interior finishing works.
- Knowledge of market rates for interior materials and labor.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
