Department: Housekeeping / Rooms Division
Reporting To: Floor Supervisor / Executive Housekeeper
Shift: Rotational (Morning, Evening, and Weekends)
Role Overview
The Hotel Housekeeping Associate is the heartbeat of our guest satisfaction. In the hotel industry, a room is more than just a place to sleep—it is a product. Your role is to ensure that every guest walks into a room that feels brand new, impeccably clean, and perfectly staged.

- Transform "stay-over" and "check-out" rooms into pristine environments by following the 15-point cleaning checklist.
- Change bed linens and "triple-sheet" beds according to brand standards.
- Deep clean bathrooms, including scrubbing tiles, polishing chrome, and ensuring mirrors are streak-free.
2. Presentation & Aesthetics
- Arrange furniture, pillows, and decor to the exact "look" required by the hotel.
- Replenish guest amenities (soaps, shampoos, robes, slippers) and refreshment centers.
- Vacuum carpets and mop hard flooring to remove all traces of previous occupancy.
3. Quality Control & Safety
- Identify and report maintenance issues (leaky faucets, frayed carpets, or flickering lights) immediately via the hotel's mobile app or logbook.
- Handle all cleaning chemicals safely according to SDS (Safety Data Sheets) and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Maintain the security of guest belongings; strictly follow the "Lost & Found" policy.
4. Public Area & Back-of-House
- Maintain the "Stage Presence" of the hotel by keeping hallways, elevators, and vending areas clear of debris.
- Ensure the housekeeping trolley is stocked, organized, and never left unattended in hallways.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Hospitality Mindset: A "Guest-First" attitude. You should be comfortable greeting guests in the hallway with a warm smile.
- Physical Agility: This is a physically demanding role. You must be able to push a heavy laundry cart and perform repetitive motions (scrubbing, reaching, bending).
- Time Management: Ability to meet the "minutes per room" quota (usually 25–40 minutes depending on room type) without sacrificing quality.
- Discretion: Respect for guest privacy and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
