About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Support Executive to join our IT team as a Level 1 support resource. You will be the first point of contact for all IT-related issues raised by employees on the ground — ensuring timely resolution, accurate asset tracking, and a seamless day-to-day technology experience across the office.
Key Responsibilities
Hardware & Floor Support

Provide L1 on-site hardware support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals

Diagnose and resolve hardware issues raised by employees on the floor

Coordinate with vendors or L2 team for issues beyond L1 resolution scope

Ensure all hardware is functional and properly set up at employee workstations
Asset Management

Maintain accurate records of all IT assets including laptops, accessories, and peripherals

Handle asset assignment for new joiners and recovery during employee exits

Track and document damages, repairs, and replacements

Conduct periodic physical audits to reconcile the asset inventory
Networking & Connectivity

Troubleshoot and resolve basic network and internet connectivity issues

Support LAN and Wi-Fi access for employees and flag recurring issues to L2

Coordinate with ISPs or network teams for outage resolution

Assist with basic network configuration and access setup for new users
Ticket Management

Log, track, respond to, and close all L1 support tickets within defined SLAs
-
Ensure all tickets are updated with resolution notes before closure

Escalate unresolved tickets to L2 within the stipulated timeframe

Maintain a clean and up-to-date ticket queue at all times
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field

0–2 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles

Familiarity with Windows OS environments

Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN, Wi-Fi, TCP/IP)

Experience with ticketing tools such as Freshservice, Jira, or Zendesk is a plus
