The Lead – Fundraising & Strategic Partnerships will provide strategic leadership to Shield Foundation’s resource mobilization and partnership efforts. This role will lead engagement with CSR partners, domestic philanthropists, foundations, and institutional donors to build sustainable, long-term partnerships that strengthen Shield Foundation’s programs for senior citizens, healthcare, skilling, and community development.
The incumbent will be responsible for expanding domestic fundraising, developing strategic collaborations, co-creating high-impact programs, and positioning Shield Foundation as a credible and trusted social impact organization.
Responsibilities:1. Strategic Fundraising & Partnerships
Develop and execute a comprehensive fundraising and partnership strategy aligned with Shield Foundation’s mission, programs, and growth plans.
Build and manage a robust pipeline of CSR partners, foundations, philanthropists, and institutional donors.
Identify opportunities for multi-year partnerships, grants, and collaborative initiatives.
Develop strategic alliances with corporates, healthcare institutions, academic institutions, and social impact organizations.
2. Partner Engagement & Relationship Management
Lead engagement with donor partners to co-create impactful programs for senior citizens, healthcare, skilling, and livelihood initiatives.
Serve as a key interface between donor partners and Shield Foundation’s leadership and program teams.
Facilitate donor visits, field immersions, program reviews, and impact-sharing sessions.
Build long-term, trust-based relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers across CSR and philanthropy ecosystems.
3. Proposal Development & Donor Communications
Lead the development and review of high-quality concept notes, grant proposals, presentations, budgets, and donor reports.
Ensure proposals align with donor priorities while maintaining programmatic integrity and community needs.
Support the creation of compelling impact stories, communication materials, and fundraising collaterals.
Maintain donor databases, funding trackers, and partnership documentation.
4. Events, Networking & Visibility
Conceptualize and lead fundraising campaigns, donor engagement forums, and networking events.
Represent Shield Foundation at CSR forums, conferences, and sector platforms.
Build visibility for the organization through strategic outreach and stakeholder engagement.
5. Compliance & Organizational Accountability
Ensure adherence to all applicable legal, regulatory, and compliance requirements related to fundraising and partnerships.
Uphold and reflect Shield Foundation’s values, ethics, transparency, and accountability in all external engagements.
Skills & Experience Required:
- 6–10 years of relevant experience in fundraising, strategic partnerships, CSR engagement, or resource mobilization within the social development sector.
- Demonstrated experience in raising domestic funds and managing donor relationships.
- Strong understanding of CSR funding mechanisms, foundations, and philanthropy ecosystems.
- Experience working in healthcare, elderly care, skilling, livelihood, or community development sectors is preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong proposal writing, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Strategic thinker with strong networking and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Strong understanding of compliance and documentation requirements related to nonprofit fundraising.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Social Work, Development Studies, Public Policy, Business Administration, Communications, or related fields.
Existing networks within CSR and philanthropic ecosystems will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹40,000.77 - ₹43,875.27 per month
