· Responsible for the aesthetic upkeep and cleanliness of the hospital premises (Patient areas and Public areas).
· To ensure that the department provides safe, pleasant, pest free and infection free environment to the patient in the hospital.
· To meet regularly the concerned Nursing supervisors, Manager- Nursing, Patient Co-ordinators, for the smooth functioning of the Wards/ICUs/OT.
· To ensure that proper physical verification of linen stock is carried out periodically.
· To co-ordinate with the purchase department for the pending items, if any.
· To ensure that the supervisor organises Induction training regularly for new recruits and on the job training for other.
· To inform the Maintenance Department of any Civil, Plumbing, Electrical, Air Conditioning and Mechanical problems and also keep the Manager Operations informed of the same.
· To ensure that Bio-Medical Waste Management Protocols are followed as per the APSPCB.
· To conduct monthly checks on the condemnation of the linen and place the indent for the same and carry out Condemnation of linen in consultation with the Manager -PCS
· To ensure that sufficient quantity of linen available for Patients/ Investigation areas.
· To conduct regular meeting with the Launderer to ensure proper washing of linen and to avoid linen mishandling.
· To check and sign the gate pass for the laundry.
· To check the uniform of the House Keeping staff.
· To ensure that the necessary cleaning materials and agents are available for washing /cleaning of all the areas of the hospital.
· To provide House Keeping Staff Support to make arrangements for important occasions of the hospital like the Founder's day, Anniversary day, Christmas celebrations, etc.
· To check the laundry bills, (other than OT Laundry) before submitting to accounts.
· To check the House Keeping Roster before submitting to the Head of the HR.
· To check the Occupancy status, work allocation, attendance register.
· Ensure that standard operating procedures followed.
· Investigate complaints regarding Housekeeping services and take corrective action wherever required.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
