Job Summary:
We are looking for a Soil Testing Executive with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in field and laboratory soil investigation. The candidate should be capable of independently handling soil testing activities, analyzing data, and preparing accurate soil investigation reports as per relevant standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field soil investigation including borehole logging, NDT, SPT (Standard Penetration Test), and sample collection.
- Perform laboratory tests such as moisture content, Atterberg limits, grain size analysis, compaction test, etc.
- Prepare detailed soil investigation reports with proper interpretation of results.
- Calculate Safe Bearing Capacity (SBC) using relevant methods (SPT, settlement analysis, etc.).
- Ensure all testing procedures follow IS codes and standard guidelines.
- Coordinate with site engineers, geologists, and project teams.
- Maintain proper documentation of test records and reports.
- Assist in both field (out siding) and office (reporting/documentation) work efficiently.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of soil mechanics and geotechnical engineering basics
- Familiarity with IS Codes related to soil testing (IS 1892, IS 2131, IS 2720, IS 6403, etc.)
- Ability to prepare and interpret soil reports independently
- Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word)
- Good understanding of bore log preparation and foundation recommendations
- Knowledge of NABL Documentation work
Preferred Qualifications:
- Diploma / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
- Experience in construction or geotechnical consultancy firms
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
