Acts as primary technical resource and a technical contact for Software Architect and Project Manager • Participate and provide feedback on design and architectural choices and its impact on cost and schedules • Communicate requirements and design clearly to the development team • Review Code, Unit and Integration Test plans in order to meet quality, functional and performance requirements • Review and analyze performance test data to identify application bottlenecks • Apply knowledge of current tools and technologies to problem solving • Play the role of a mentor to the development team and identify areas where team members need additional training.
BE degree or equivalent in computer science, or Electronics, or related field is required with minimum 5 years of directly related work experience. • .NET Framework with C# / ASP.NET • GIS Technologies – Geocoding, Routing, Mapping • Web Services • Use / understanding of Microsoft UIP, rather than alternative .Net web architectures • Strong in Windows Application Development • Good exposure to Web Application Development • Experience of Unit Test Automation (NUnit, Mock Frameworks) • Visual Studio 2005 / 2008 • At least one RDBMS - SQL 2000/2005, Oracle 10g, Sybase ASA 9.0 • UML Modeling tool (Rational / Visio) Desirable knowledge • Web Forms development • Exposure to SaaS development • .NET Interop with COM components • Asset / Infrastructure Management systems
