Job Summary
We are hiring a passionate and confident Political News Reporter for ground-level political coverage in Sirhind and nearby areas. The role involves covering political events, recording videos, taking public opinions, understanding voter mood, and reporting local issues during political campaigns and elections.
Responsibilities
- Cover political rallies, meetings, campaigns, and local news
- Record on-ground video reports using mobile or camera
- Take public interviews and voter opinions
- Track voter mood and local political trends
- Identify and report civic and public issues
- Create short political news content for digital and social media platforms
- Coordinate with the content and media team for quick updates
Requirements
- Good communication skills in Hindi and Punjabi
- Comfortable with field reporting and public interaction
- Basic mobile video shooting and reporting skills
- Understanding of politics, elections, and current affairs
- Ability to travel locally for news coverage
- Basic knowledge of social media and digital content
Preferred
- Experience in journalism, reporting, political campaigns, or content creation
- Knowledge of video editing apps is a plus
Salary
₹10,000 – ₹20,000 per month (Based on experience and skills)
