Job Title: Purchase Executive – Construction
Location - Sarjapur
Job Summary
Responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and procuring construction materials, equipment, and services at the best price, quality, and timelines. Ensures uninterrupted supply for site operations while controlling costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end procurement of construction materials (cement, steel, electricals, plumbing, etc.)
- Identify and evaluate vendors, negotiate pricing and contracts
- Compare quotations (minimum 3 vendors) and finalize purchase orders
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites
- Coordinate with site engineers and project managers for requirements
- Track inventory levels and avoid shortages or excess stock
- Maintain purchase records, invoices, and vendor databases
- Monitor market price trends to control costs
- Ensure quality compliance of materials received
- Resolve vendor-related issues (delays, quality problems, etc.)
Required Skills
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Knowledge of construction materials and market rates

- Basic understanding of inventory and supply chain
- Attention to detail and cost control mindset
· Ensure timely procurement of goods and services as per restaurant requirements.
· Monitor market trends, new products, and price fluctuations to optimize purchasing decisions.
· Implement purchase planning to avoid shortages, overstocking, and wastage.
· Maintain proper purchase records, bills, and documentation for audit and accounts.
· Ensure compliance with FSSAI standards, food safety guidelines, and vendor certifications.
· Track vendor performance in terms of quality, pricing, and delivery timelines.
· Work closely with the accounts team for payments and reconciliation.
· Support cost control initiatives and contribute to profitability improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:
· Graduate in Supply Chain Management, Hotel Management, or Business Administration preferred.
· 1–4 years of experience in construction procurement.
