Job Summary
We are looking for a compassionate, responsible, and skilled Staff Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing quality patient care, assisting doctors, administering medications, monitoring patients, and maintaining accurate nursing records.
Freshers with the required nursing qualification are welcome to apply. Candidates with prior hospital experience will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients as per hospital protocols.
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and clinical condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
- Assist doctors during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation and patient records.
- Monitor patients for changes in condition and promptly report abnormalities to the doctor.
- Maintain proper infection-control, hygiene, and patient-safety practices.
- Perform wound care, dressing, catheter care, and other nursing procedures as required.
- Prepare patients for investigations, procedures, and surgeries when applicable.
- Ensure proper handling and documentation of medicines and medical supplies.
- Educate patients and their attendants regarding medications, procedures, and basic care.
- Respond appropriately to medical emergencies and assist in emergency procedures.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow hospital policies.
- Coordinate effectively with doctors, nursing staff, technicians, and other departments.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of the nursing station and patient-care area.
Eligibility & Qualifications
- GNM / B.Sc. Nursing or equivalent recognized nursing qualification.
- Valid nursing registration as applicable.
- Freshers are welcome to apply.
- Previous hospital/clinical experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
- Basic knowledge of nursing procedures, infection control, and patient safety.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays when required.
