Job Title: Junior NDT Engineer

Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated Junior NDT Engineer to perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections under the guidance of senior inspectors. The candidate will be responsible for inspecting components and welded joints using standard NDT methods, preparing inspection reports, and ensuring compliance with client and industry standards.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related discipline.
- NDT Level II certification (ASNT/PCN/Equivalent) in one or more methods is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform NDT inspections using methods such as VT, PT, MT, UT, and RT (based on certification and project requirements).
- Conduct visual inspection of welds, castings, forgings, and fabricated components.
- Follow applicable inspection procedures, client specifications, and industry standards.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports and documentation.
- Identify and report defects or non-conformities.
- Ensure proper handling and calibration of NDT equipment.
- Coordinate with Quality Engineers, Production, and Clients during inspections.
- Maintain safety standards while performing inspections.
- Support third-party and supplier inspections when required.
Required Skills
- Basic knowledge of NDT methods and inspection techniques.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and welding symbols.
- Understanding of quality standards and inspection procedures.
- Good communication and report-writing skills.
- Willingness to travel to client and supplier locations.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of ASME, API, AWS, or ISO standards.
- Exposure to manufacturing, fabrication, oil & gas, power, aerospace, or heavy engineering industries.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
