Job Title: Assistant Manager Sales – (Private Projects)

Role Overview
Dudhi Industries Pvt Ltd. is seeking an Assistant Manager-Sales with strong hands-on experience in private project sales of building materials, construction products, infrastructure products, preferably FRP, GFRP, SMC, or composite-based products.
This is a core execution-driven role involving private developers, EPC contractors, industrial customers, consultants, architects, PMCs, utilities, and infrastructure companies across India. The role requires a deep understanding of project sales, specification selling, technical approvals, business development, and project execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project-Based Account Management
- Manage relationships with private developers, EPC contractors, industrial customers, infrastructure companies, and project owners.
- Build strong connections with consultants, architects, project managers, procurement teams, and key decision-makers.
- Ensure repeat business through long-term customer engagement and relationship management.
2. Project Opportunity Identification
- Track upcoming private infrastructure, industrial, commercial, residential, and utility projects.
- Identify potential opportunities through market intelligence, consultant networks, project databases, and customer referrals.
- Develop early-stage engagement strategies to maximize project conversion opportunities.
3. Consultant, Architect & EPC Engagement
- Work closely with EPC contractors, PMC consultants, architects, and infrastructure developers.
- Ensure company products are specified and approved in project BOQs, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Influence technical approvals and brand positioning during project planning and pre-execution stages.
4. Project Sales Management
- Lead the complete project sales cycle:
o Opportunity identification
o Technical discussions and presentations
o Proposal submission
o Commercial negotiations
o Order closure
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate responses to customer requirements.
5. Order Conversion & Project Execution
- Convert project inquiries into confirmed orders and contracts.
- Ensure alignment between customer requirements and production capabilities.
- Track project timelines, dispatch schedules, installation support requirements, and project milestones.
6. Revenue Growth & Pipeline Development
- Achieve revenue targets from private infrastructure, industrial, and commercial projects.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Focus on high-value, repeat, and multi-location project opportunities.
7. Specification Selling & Product Approval
- Get company products approved in:
o Consultant drawings
o Project specifications
o BOQs
o Technical submittals
o Infrastructure and industrial project documents
- Conduct technical presentations and site-level engagement activities.
8. Payment Collection & Commercial Control
- Ensure timely billing as per project milestones.
- Follow up for payments with contractors, developers, industrial customers, and project owners.
- Minimize delays in receivables and manage commercial exposure effectively.
9. Site Coordination & Execution Support
- Visit project sites regularly to monitor product usage and performance.
- Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, consultants, and dispatch teams.
- Resolve on-site issues related to product application, installation, or quality concerns.
10. Market Intelligence & Competitor Tracking
- Track competitor pricing, product positioning, specifications, and project presence.
- Monitor upcoming investments in infrastructure, industrial, utility, and commercial sectors.
- Identify gaps, emerging opportunities, and new regions for business expansion.
11. Customer Registration & Vendor Empanelment
- Ensure registration and empanelment with:
o EPC companies
o Private developers
o Industrial customers
o Infrastructure companies
- Maintain updated technical, commercial, and compliance documentation.
Mandatory Eligibility Criteria (Strict – Non-Negotiable)
Candidates must meet ALL conditions below:
Experience
- 5–8 years of experience in private project sales of:
o Building materials OR
o Construction products OR
o Infrastructure / utility products
- Experience must be directly related to project sales, specification selling, consultant engagement, and private business development.
Mandatory Vehicle, Laptop & Mobile Requirement
- Candidate must own a personal four-wheeler.
- Valid driving license is mandatory.
- Fuel + Travel Reimbursement (actual / per km basis).
Education
- Continuous regular education only.
Compensation & Benefits
Probation Period
Compensation Structure
Total CTC: ₹13,00,000 per annum
o Fixed Pay: ₹10,00,000 per annum
o Deferred Pay: ₹3,00,000
▪ ₹1,50,000 payable after 6 months of continuous service
▪ ₹1,50,000 payable after 1 year of continuous service
Sales Incentive
- 2% incentive on monthly sales generated, as per company incentive policy.
Preferred Background (Industry Exposure)
Experience in companies dealing with:
- FRP / GFRP / SMC products
- Cable trays, manhole covers, fencing systems, enclosures, panels
- Infrastructure, electrical, water, drainage, transport, utility, or industrial products
- Construction materials, building products, engineering products, or project-based solutions
Skills Required
- Strong understanding of project sales and specification selling
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to engage consultants, architects, EPCs, and project stakeholders
- Strong commercial and business development acumen
- Ability to work in field-intensive, target-driven environments
- Comfortable with extensive travel and project-based sales
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,300,000.00 per month
