Job Description – Consultant MD Medicine
Qualification: MD General Medicine (Mandatory)
- Diagnose, evaluate, and manage patients with acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Conduct OPD consultations, IPD rounds, and emergency medical care.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans for patients.
- Perform thorough clinical assessments and interpret diagnostic investigations.
- Manage critically ill patients in coordination with the ICU and multidisciplinary teams.
- Coordinate with other specialties to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, discharge summaries, and clinical documentation.
- Guide and supervise Junior Doctors, Residents, and Interns.
- Participate in clinical meetings, CMEs, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, infection control protocols, and hospital policies.
- Provide timely consultation and support during medical emergencies.
- Deliver compassionate, ethical, and patient-centered care while maintaining the highest professional standards.
