About the Role
We're looking for a creative, internet-savvy Social Media Intern to join our marketing team. You'll help plan, create, and manage content across our social channels building community, growing engagement, and keeping Creath LLP's voice sharp and consistent. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants hands-on experience running real brand accounts and seeing their ideas go live.
What You'll Do
- Plan and schedule content across platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, etc.)
- Write engaging captions, posts, and short-form copy aligned with brand voice
- Assist in creating and editing basic graphics, reels, and short videos for social posts
- Track trends, hashtags, and platform algorithm changes to keep content relevant
- Monitor comments, DMs, and mentions, and support community engagement
- Assist with running and reporting on paid social campaigns (if applicable)
- Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth) and help build simple reports
- Collaborate with the design and content team to align messaging across channels
- Research competitors and industry trends to bring fresh content ideas to the table
What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience)
- Genuine interest in and active use of social media platforms
- Strong writing skills with an ability to adapt tone across platforms
- Basic familiarity with content/design tools like Canva, CapCut, or similar
- A creative eye for what makes content stop the scroll
- Organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable juggling multiple posts/campaigns at once
- Willingness to learn analytics tools and interpret basic performance data
Nice to Have
- A personal social media project, page, or portfolio you can show us
- Basic photography or videography skills
- Familiarity with scheduling tools (Buffer, Later, Meta Business Suite, etc.)
- Interest in branding, pop culture, or digital trends
