The Business Development Officer is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients and partners, and driving growth through strategic planning, marketing initiatives, and outreach activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, referral sources, and stakeholders
- Promote company services through meetings, presentations, and promotional activities
- Conduct market analysis to understand trends, competitors, and customer needs
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and business presentations
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of clients and service delivery
- Achieve assigned sales and growth targets on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, and conversions
- Participate in events, outreach programs, and promotional campaigns
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or marketing (preferred)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to build long-term professional relationships
- Good presentation and organizational skills
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach
Experience:
- 1–3 years of relevant experience
