Job Summary
The Accounts Executive is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, preparing reports, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting the finance team in day-to-day accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records in Tally, ERP, or accounting software.
- Record sales, purchases, receipts, and payment vouchers.
- Prepare and process invoices, debit notes, and credit notes.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliation and cash reconciliation.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly financial reports.
- Handle petty cash and monitor cash flow.
- Process employee reimbursements and vendor payments.
- Coordinate with vendors and customers regarding outstanding payments.
- Maintain purchase bills, invoices, and supporting documents.
- Prepare GST data and assist in GST return filing.
- Assist in TDS calculations and statutory compliance.
- Support payroll processing and salary payments.
- Maintain fixed asset records and depreciation schedules.
- Assist during internal and statutory audits.
- Ensure proper filing and documentation of financial records.
- Prepare MIS reports for management.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and government authorities when required.
- Ensure compliance with company financial policies and accounting standards.
- Perform other accounts and finance-related duties assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance) or equivalent.
- 1–5 years of experience in accounting (preferred).
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and basic taxation.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP/Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software.
