Senior Academic Counsellor
Location: Manjeri, Kerala
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month + Attractive Incentives
Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Senior Academic Counsellor to guide prospective students in choosing the right academic and career-oriented programs. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and counselling skills with experience in educational sales or academic counselling.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses and career opportunities.
- Understand student requirements and recommend suitable programs.
- Handle inbound and outbound enquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, and walk-ins.
- Convert leads into admissions by providing accurate course information.
- Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective students.
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.
- Maintain student records and update the CRM regularly.
- Coordinate with the admissions, academic, and marketing teams.
- Provide guidance and support throughout the admission process.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students and parents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in Academic Counselling, Educational Sales, or Admissions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and counselling abilities.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office and CRM software.
- Target-oriented with a positive attitude.
Preferred Candidates
- Experience in the EdTech or education industry.
- Fluency in English and Malayalam.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
