Mobile Cranes, All-Terrain Cranes, Crawler Cranes, Rough-Terrain Cranes, Hydraulic Truck Cranes (e.g., SANY, Liebherr, Tadano, Grove)
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems of cranes.
Troubleshoot hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, hoses and hydraulic circuits.
Check and repair main control valves, counterbalance valves, relief valves and pilot circuits.
Carry out hydraulic pressure testing and adjust system pressures according to manufacturer specifications.
Troubleshoot boom, winch, slewing, outrigger and telescoping systems.
Inspect hydraulic hoses, pipes, fittings and connections for leakage or damage.
Dismantle and overhaul hydraulic cylinders, pumps and motors.
Read and understand hydraulic circuit diagrams.
Identify electrical/hydraulic interface problems using diagnostic equipment.
Carry out preventive maintenance and breakdown repairs.
Maintain service reports and record replaced parts.
Follow crane manufacturer's safety procedures and ensure the crane is safe before operation.
Coordinate with crane operators and service engineers during troubleshooting and repairs.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of hydraulics and crane hydraulic systems.
Ability to read hydraulic drawings.
Experience with hydraulic pressure gauges and testing equipment.
Knowledge of proportional valves, pilot controls and load-sensing systems.
Basic knowledge of electrical and CAN-bus systems is an advantage.
Ability to troubleshoot problems systematically.
Good understanding of crane safety and maintenance procedures.
Experience
Typically 5–10+ years of experience in hydraulic maintenance, preferably with mobile or crawler cranes
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Chembur, Mumbai, Maharashtra
