Position Summary
BAKED is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and results-driven Operations Store Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the store. The Operations Store Manager will be responsible for sales performance, customer service, inventory control, staff management, store profitability, hygiene standards, and ensuring smooth branch operations.
The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences while maintaining operational excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesStore Operations Management
- Ensure smooth daily operations of the store.
- Open and close the store as per company procedures.
- Monitor all store activities and resolve operational issues promptly.
- Ensure all departments function efficiently throughout the day.
- Maintain BAKED operational standards at all times.
Sales & Revenue Management
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
- Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
- Drive upselling and cross-selling initiatives.
- Track product-wise sales and recommend production adjustments.
- Coordinate with marketing teams for promotions and campaigns.
Team Management
- Supervise sales staff, kitchen staff, housekeeping staff, and delivery personnel (if applicable).
- Prepare staff duty rosters and shift schedules.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, and discipline.
- Conduct regular staff briefings and performance reviews.
- Motivate employees to achieve sales and service goals.
Customer Service Excellence
- Ensure every customer receives a positive experience.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and efficiently.
- Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements.
- Maintain high service standards across all customer touchpoints.
Inventory & Stock Control
- Monitor daily stock levels of products and raw materials.
- Ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO).
- Conduct daily and monthly inventory checks.
- Prevent stock shortages, overstocking, and wastage.
- Verify stock movement and report discrepancies.
Cash & Financial Management
- Monitor daily cash collections and billing accuracy.
- Ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Verify daily sales reports and cash deposits.
- Control operational expenses.
- Assist management in improving store profitability.
Hygiene & Store Maintenance
- Ensure cleanliness of the store, kitchen, display counters, and storage areas.
- Enforce hygiene and food safety standards.
- Ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair activities when required.
Production Coordination
- Coordinate with kitchen teams to ensure product availability.
- Monitor daily production requirements based on sales trends.
- Minimize product wastage and stock losses.
- Ensure timely execution of customer orders and special cake requests.

QualificationsEducation
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Retail Management, Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a related field.
Experience
- 3–7 years of experience in retail, bakery, food service, hospitality, or store operations.
- Previous experience managing teams and daily operations preferred.
