About the Role
We are looking for a curious, analytical, and ambitious graduate to join Student Grad as an Executive – Strategy & Business Excellence.
This role is part of the Strategy & Growth function and will work closely with the leadership team. The selected candidate will support business performance analysis, university research, product portfolio development, partnership management, target tracking, reporting, and strategic projects.
This is not a routine back-office position. The candidate will receive exposure to different areas of the business and will help the management team understand what is performing well, where improvements are required, and which opportunities Student Grad should pursue.
The role is well suited to someone who enjoys working with data, conducting research, coordinating with different stakeholders, and solving business problems.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy and Business Analysis
- Monitor weekly and monthly business performance across key functions.
- Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, presentations, and management summaries.
- Track key performance indicators and highlight important trends.
- Analyse data to identify performance gaps, risks, and growth opportunities.
- Convert business data into clear and actionable recommendations.
- Support leadership with strategic planning and business decision-making.
- Assist in preparing materials for weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews.
2. Sales Performance and Target Tracking
- Track individual, team, and organisational sales targets.
- Monitor leads, counselling activity, applications, offers, enrolments, conversions, and revenue.
- Prepare regular sales performance reports.
- Compare actual performance against targets and previous periods.
- Identify underperforming areas and possible reasons for performance gaps.
- Coordinate with the sales team to ensure reporting data is accurate and updated.
- Support management in reviewing team productivity and conversion performance.
3. University Research and Product Portfolio
- Research universities, colleges, programmes, and study destinations.
- Identify institutions and programmes that match Student Grad’s target student profiles.
- Study programme demand, entry requirements, tuition fees, scholarships, intakes, rankings, and employability factors.
- Maintain an organised and updated university and programme database.
- Recommend which universities and programmes the sales team should focus on.
- Track the performance of universities and programmes within the existing portfolio.
- Help create university comparison sheets, product summaries, and sales-support materials.
4. University Partnerships
- Identify potential university partnership opportunities.
- Support outreach to university representatives and institutional partners.
- Maintain accurate records of university contacts, discussions, agreements, and follow-ups.
- Coordinate meetings and partnership-related communication.
- Track pending partnership actions, renewals, and documentation.
- Support the onboarding of new university partners.
- Help maintain professional and long-term relationships with partner institutions.
5. Agent and Partner Management
- Maintain a central database of recruitment agents, channel partners, and institutional contacts.
- Keep partner information, agreements, contact details, and communication records updated.
- Support the onboarding of new agents and business partners.
- Track agent activity, application volume, conversion performance, and engagement.
- Coordinate follow-ups and ensure agreed actions are completed.
- Help management identify high-potential and underperforming partners.
6. Market Research and Competitive Intelligence
- Research trends in the international education and study-abroad market.
- Monitor competitors, new study destinations, visa-related developments, programme demand, and student preferences.
- Compare Student Grad’s university portfolio and services with competing organisations.
- Identify potential business opportunities, partnerships, and market gaps.
- Present research findings in a clear and structured format.
- Support leadership with insights for new initiatives and expansion opportunities.
7. Business Excellence and Process Improvement
- Review existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Help document workflows, standard operating procedures, and reporting formats.
- Support the implementation of new systems, trackers, and business processes.
- Follow up with departments on agreed action items and deadlines.
- Assist in improving data accuracy, accountability, and coordination across teams.
- Support special projects assigned by the leadership team.
8. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Admissions, Operations, Finance, and Leadership.
- Collect and validate data from different departments.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects and strategic initiatives.
- Ensure that key updates and business priorities are communicated to relevant teams.
- Support departments with research, reports, presentations, and structured information.

Educational Qualifications
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in one of the following areas:
