Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and energetic Business Development Executive (BDE) who can generate leads, schedule product demonstrations, build relationships with educational institutions, and help convert prospects into customers.
The ideal candidate should be confident in communication, passionate about sales, and eager to work in a fast-growing startup environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new leads from colleges, universities, and educational institutions.
- Reach out through calls, emails, LinkedIn, and WhatsApp.
- Schedule product demos with decision-makers.
- Present BytesAttend to principals, directors, registrars, HODs, and administrators.
- Follow up with potential clients until closure.
- Maintain CRM with daily sales activities.
- Coordinate with the founder during meetings and negotiations.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and MoUs.
- Attend education expos and networking events.
- Collect customer feedback and share insights with the product team.
- Achieve monthly lead generation and sales targets.
Required SkillsMust Have
- Excellent communication skills (English & Hindi; Gujarati is a plus)
- Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
- Basic knowledge of MS Office / Google Workspace
- Confidence in making cold calls
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude
- Willingness to travel
Preferred
- 0–2 years of sales or business development experience
- Experience in EdTech or SaaS sales
- Familiarity with CRM software
- Knowledge of LinkedIn Sales Navigator
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, IT, or any related field.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills are encouraged to apply.
What You'll Do Daily
- 60–80 outbound calls
- 20–30 WhatsApp/LinkedIn outreach messages
- 15–20 follow-up conversations
- 2–5 product demo bookings
- Update CRM before end of day
