Key Responsibilities
- Prepare aerospace components for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and surface treatment.
- Mix paints, primers, and coatings according to technical specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
- Apply primers, topcoats, and specialty coatings using spray guns and other painting equipment.
- Ensure coating thickness and finish quality meet aerospace and customer requirements.
- Inspect painted surfaces for defects such as runs, sags, orange peel, contamination, or incomplete coverage.
- Perform touch-ups and rework activities as required.
- Maintain accurate records of paint batches, materials used, and production activities.
- Follow work instructions, engineering drawings, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards and company quality requirements.
- Maintain painting equipment and work area in clean and safe condition.
- Adhere to all environmental, health, and safety regulations related to paint handling and hazardous materials.
- Coordinate with Quality, Production, and Engineering teams to resolve painting-related issues.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma / ITI / Vocational Training in Painting or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in industrial, automotive, aerospace, or composite component painting.
- Knowledge of spray painting techniques and paint application equipment.
- Familiarity with primers, polyurethane paints, epoxy coatings, and surface preparation processes.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and work instructions.
- Good understanding of workplace safety practices and PPE requirements.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
