Sales Manager / Team Leader
Job Summary:
The Telecalling Executive is responsible for contacting existing and potential customers by phone, promoting the company's products or services, generating leads, following up on enquiries, and maintaining strong customer relationships to achieve sales and business targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers.
- Explain company products, services, and offers clearly.
- Generate new leads and convert enquiries into sales.
- Follow up with customers regarding quotations, orders, and payments.
- Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM or Excel.
- Handle customer queries and provide appropriate solutions.
- Schedule appointments for the sales team when required.
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly call and sales targets.
- Coordinate with the Sales, Accounts, and Dispatch departments.
- Collect customer feedback and report market information.
- Prepare and submit daily call reports and sales reports.
- Ensure professional communication and maintain customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Freshers or candidates with 1–3 years of telecalling or customer service experience are preferred.
- Experience in the steel, manufacturing, or building materials industry is an added advantage.
Required Skills:
- Excellent verbal communication skills in Tamil.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Hindi communication is an added advantage.
- Good persuasion and negotiation skills.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Office, Excel, Email).
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work under pressure and achieve targets.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Number of calls made per day.
- Lead generation and conversion rate.
- Sales achieved against targets.
- Customer follow-up completion.
- Customer satisfaction.
- Accuracy and timely submission of reports.
Working Conditions:
- Work from office.
- Standard working hours as per company policy.
- May require additional hours during promotional campaigns or month-end target periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
