We are seeking an organized, detail-oriented Accountant to manage day-to-day financial operations and ensure smooth accounting compliance at our Noida office.
Job Overview
The Accountant will oversee daily bookkeeping, billing, ledger maintenance, vendor/client reconciliations, daily reminders to all the debters and tax compliance (GST and TDS). This role is vital to keeping our financial records accurate, transparent, and up-to-date across our equipment sales, spare parts inventory, and repair service divisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, journal entries, and ledger maintenance using Busy/accounting software.
- Generate GST-compliant tax invoices for machinery sales, spare parts, and technical repair services.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, following up on client payments and scheduling timely vendor disbursements.
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations, vendor statement reconciliations, and inventory record matching.
- Assist with statutory compliance, including GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) preparation, TDS deductions, and e-way bill generation.
- Maintain organized filing systems for purchase orders, bills, receipts, and tax documentation.
- Coordinate with the management team and external Chartered Accountant (CA) for monthly reporting and annual audits.
Key Requirements & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
- 4+ years of hands-on accounting experience, preferably within trading, manufacturing, or distribution businesses.
- Strong proficiency in Busy software and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, basic financial sheets).
- Solid working knowledge of GST filing rules, TDS, e-invoicing, and Indian taxation basics.
- High attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and integrity.
