Job Summary
Chakolas Pavilion is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our Accounts department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with statutory compliance, reconciliations, and preparing financial reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day accounting transactions and maintain accurate books of accounts.
- Record and verify invoices, receipts, payments, expenses, and other financial transactions.
- Perform bank, ledger, and vendor/customer reconciliations.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly MIS and financial reports.
- Assist with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Ensure timely posting and reconciliation of accounting entries.
- Assist in monthly and year-end closing of accounts.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide necessary documents and information.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and payables.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records.
- Support the Accounts Manager/Senior Management in accounting and financial activities.
- Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of financial information.
Required Qualifications
- B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / CMA Inter or equivalent qualification.
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and basic taxation.
- Proficiency in Tally/ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Knowledge of GST and TDS will be an advantage.
Experience Required
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
- Experience in handling day-to-day accounting operations.
- Experience in the hospitality industry will be an added advantage.
