We are looking for a polite, responsible, and patient-focused Customer Care Executive to join our hospital team. The candidate will be responsible for assisting patients and visitors, handling inquiries, coordinating appointments, managing front-desk activities, and ensuring a smooth and positive experience throughout the patient journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome patients, attendants, and visitors in a professional and courteous manner.
- Handle patient inquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, and in-person communication.
- Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel doctor appointments.
- Guide patients regarding hospital departments, doctors, services, procedures, and consultation timings.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, billing staff, diagnostic departments, and other hospital teams.
- Assist patients with registration, admission, discharge, billing, and insurance-related processes.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information in the hospital management system.
- Respond to patient complaints and concerns calmly and professionally.
- Follow up with patients regarding appointments, reports, treatments, and feedback.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and follow hospital policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception or customer service area.
- Support emergency and priority cases by directing patients to the appropriate department.
- Prepare daily reports related to calls, appointments, complaints, and patient feedback.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate politely with patients and their families.
- Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office, email, and data entry.
- Ability to work under pressure in a hospital environment.
- Good coordination, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and the local language is preferred.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
Qualifications
- Minimum qualification: 12th pass.
- Graduation in any discipline is preferred.
- Diploma or degree in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field will be an advantage.
- Freshers with strong communication skills may apply.
- Previous experience in a hospital, clinic, healthcare centre, call centre, reception, or customer service role is preferred.
