Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive/Manager to grow our garment manufacturing business. The role involves identifying new clients, expanding into new markets (domestic and export), and building long-term business relationships with buyers, brands, retailers, and wholesalers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in domestic and international markets (especially with fashion brands, retailers, or private labels).
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Understand client requirements and coordinate with the production and sampling teams to deliver on time.
- Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and buyer meetings to promote company offerings.
- Develop and deliver effective sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with clients.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences.
- Maintain and update client database and sales pipeline in CRM.
- Work closely with merchandising, sampling, and production departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Fashion, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 2–5 years of experience in business development or sales in the garment/textile industry.
- Knowledge of garment production processes, export documentation, and pricing structures.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel as needed (domestic and international).
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
