Job Summary
The Sales & Distribution Executive/Manager is responsible for driving sales growth by developing and managing the company's distribution network, achieving sales targets, expanding market coverage, and maintaining strong relationships with distributors, dealers, retailers, and key customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Develop and manage distributors, dealers, wholesalers, and retailers within the assigned territory.
- Expand market reach by identifying new business opportunities and appointing new channel partners.
- Ensure product availability and effective distribution across the assigned region.
- Monitor distributor inventory, stock movement, and order fulfillment.
- Conduct regular market visits to strengthen customer relationships and identify growth opportunities.
- Collect and analyze market intelligence, including competitor activities, pricing, and customer feedback.
- Implement sales promotions, merchandising, and trade marketing activities.
- Prepare sales forecasts, territory plans, and periodic performance reports.
- Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, finance, and marketing teams to ensure timely product availability and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor collections and ensure adherence to company credit policies.
- Resolve customer complaints and maintain high service standards.
- Train and support distributors and sales representatives to improve productivity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
- MBA in Marketing is preferred.
- 0–1 years of experience in Sales & Distribution, preferably in FMCG, Consumer Durables, Telecom, Pharmaceutical, or Manufacturing industries.
