Job Description
As an academic advisor you will be responsible for counselling and helping corporate executive aspirants register for various executive education programmes from top management institutes like the major IIMs, XLRI and other premier institutions that VCNow Executive Education is associated with.
- Place outbound calls to potential aspirants (customers), introducing them to the programs assigned through the CRM system assigned.
- Outbound calls per day: 100–120 calls in a day including freshly assigned leads + follow ups, with focus on quality and maintaining VCNow's brand image and attempt at closures.
- Connected conversations: At least 15–30 meaningful conversations per day
- Lead response time: Ideally within 5–15 minutes of a lead coming in
- Call back requests: Within 30 mins of enquiry received
- Program engagement may range between 2-5 programs simultaneously from various institutes as may be assigned from time to time.
- Engage with potential learners in a courteous and professional manner, providing information about courses by building rapport to encourage registration and final joining.
- Ensure proper hand holding of interested leads to help them submit their completed applications including necessary eligibility document uploads such as education certificates and work experience documents and, Statement of Purpose (SOP) and Candidate profile.
- Properly guide and educate aspirants on format of learning, timelines, USPs and all other aspects of the concerned programme.
- Conduct timely follow-up calls to nurture leads, answer any additional questions, and encourage prospective learners to take the next step in their learning journey with VCNow.
- Maintain accurate records of calls made, appointments scheduled, and customer interactions in the company's CRM system, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
- Respond to inbound calls well within 3 rings and responding promptly.
- Contribute at least 10% final registrations for the batch from the total applied and paid applicants.
- Responsible for ensuring that at least 10% of eligible and valid leads counselled register for the various Executive Education Programmes from various institutes that VCNow is associated with.
- Must aim at ensuring first instalment paid by 75% of the selected candidates to fully completed application posting as per targets assigned by UCS and as per required terms of the Institute.
- Consultant/ Counsellor shall furnish summary report to VCNow on performance of counselling services mentioned above at the end of each week.
- Consultant/ Counsellor shall be available to receive inbound calls from various ads / promos as required.
- Consultant/ Counsellor shall contribute towards effort in collection of instalments through calling and counselling for ongoing batches.
- Must be available to attend periodic reviews and product briefing sessions organized through audio call or Video Conference from time to time.
- Work cohesively with the Virtual Classroom National team towards a single aim of quality batch formation for all Institutes associated.
