Job Summary
We are looking for a professional, friendly, and organized School Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for students, parents, staff, and visitors. The School Receptionist will manage front desk operations, handle communications, maintain records, and provide administrative support to ensure the smooth functioning of the school office.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist students, parents, staff, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
- Answer, screen, and direct incoming phone calls and emails.
- Maintain visitor records and ensure school security procedures are followed.
- Provide information regarding school policies, schedules, and events.
- Manage student attendance records and assist with student check-in/check-out procedures.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and deliveries.
- Schedule appointments and coordinate meetings for school administrators.
- Maintain and update student, staff, and visitor records as required.
- Assist with preparing reports, letters, notices, and other school communications.
- Support admission inquiries and guide prospective parents through the enrollment process.
- Manage office supplies inventory and coordinate procurement when necessary.
- Assist teachers and administrative staff with clerical and administrative tasks.
- Ensure the reception area and school office remain organized and welcoming.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
- Previous experience as a Receptionist, Front Desk Executive, Administrative Assistant, or similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
