The Assistant Project Manager (APM) supports the Project Manager, Senior Project Manager, and Design Manager in the successful planning, coordination, execution, monitoring, and delivery of projects. The role involves project coordination across global and local offices, stakeholder management, project controls support, and ensuring timely delivery of project requirements in line with contractual commitments, quality standards, and business objectives.
The APM contributes to project performance by supporting project planning, scheduling, resource coordination, financial tracking, reporting, risk management, and client communication while maintaining effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
Assist in developing project execution strategies and resource plans for proposals.
Support Project Managers and Senior Project Managers in the overall planning, execution, monitoring, and control of projects.
Coordinate project activities among project offices, local offices, lead offices, and multidisciplinary teams.
Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, action trackers, and deliverable registers.
Ensure timely completion of project tasks and contractual deliverables.
Monitor project progress and highlight potential schedule, resource, or delivery risks
Support project forecasting, budgeting, cost tracking, and resource utilization monitoring.
Prepare project status reports, performance dashboards, and management presentations
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective project execution.
Coordinate communication between clients, project teams, and management.
Assist in project financial management activities, including invoicing, revenue recognition support, and budget monitoring.
Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors as required.
Support procurement and vendor management activities related to assigned projects.
Support preparation of proposals, bids, presentations, and opportunity pursuits.
