Job Summary
The Housekeeping Executive is responsible for maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and overall upkeep of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house areas to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. The role includes supervising housekeeping staff, managing inventories, coordinating with other departments, and ensuring hotel standards are consistently maintained.
Key Responsibilities Operational Duties
- Supervise daily housekeeping operations and staff assignments.
- Ensure guest rooms, villas, public areas, and staff areas are cleaned and maintained as per property standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms and common areas.
- Coordinate room status updates with the Front Office team.
- Handle guest requests and housekeeping-related complaints promptly and professionally.
- Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and supplies.
Team Management
- Train, guide, and motivate housekeeping associates and attendants.
- Prepare duty rosters and staff schedules.
- Monitor staff grooming, discipline, and performance.
- Conduct departmental briefings and shift handovers.
Inventory & Linen Management
- Maintain housekeeping inventory and stock levels.
- Monitor linen usage, uniforms, guest supplies, and cleaning materials.
- Coordinate with laundry vendors and suppliers when required.
- Minimize wastage and control operational costs.
Hygiene & Safety
- Ensure adherence to hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards.
- Follow hotel SOPs and health regulations.
- Report maintenance issues and follow up for timely rectification.
- Ensure safe handling and storage of chemicals and equipment.
Coordination
- Coordinate with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry, and F&B departments for smooth operations.
- Support during VIP arrivals, events, and high-occupancy periods.

Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management or Hospitality preferred
- Minimum 2–4 years of experience in housekeeping operations
- Experience in hotels, resorts, or luxury hospitality preferred
Preferred for Boutique Resort / Luxury Property
- Knowledge of luxury guest service standards
- Experience handling villas, suites, and premium accommodations
- Eye for aesthetics and guest experience enhancement
Work Conditions
- Rotational shifts including weekends and holidays
- Standing and walking for extended periods may be required
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
