Job description:
We are looking for a dedicated and confident Senior Academic Counselor who can guide students, handle admissions, and provide complete academic support. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, convincing ability, and a student-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents regarding courses, career options, and institute offerings.
- Handle walk-ins, phone inquiries, and follow-up calls effectively.
- Assist students in selecting the right course based on their interests and goals.
- Maintain detailed records of leads, follow-ups, and conversions.
- Achieve monthly admission and conversion targets.
- Explain course structure, fees, duration, and placement details clearly.
- Coordinate with trainers, management, and admin teams for smooth operations.
- Organize student orientations, tests, and academic activities.
- Build a positive rapport with students and ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Maintain daily reports, attendance, and CRM updates.
Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and convincing abilities.
- Prior experience in counseling, admissions, or customer-facing roles (preferred).
- Ability to handle pressure and meet targets.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, CRM, and documentation.
- Graduation/Post-Graduation in any field.
- Pleasant personality, empathy, and student-friendly approach.
