Job Description
Kins Technology is looking for a Hardware & Networking Infrastructure Technician for onsite technical support and IT infrastructure projects. The candidate will be required to visit client locations for installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit client sites for hardware and networking installation and troubleshooting.
- Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and other IT hardware.
- Install and maintain LAN/network infrastructure.
- Perform LAN cable laying, termination, crimping and cable dressing.
- Install and manage racks, patch panels, switches and other networking equipment.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, hardware and system-related issues.
- Perform network testing, ping testing and connectivity checks.
- Provide onsite technical support to clients.
- Coordinate with clients and the internal technical team.
- Complete assigned site work within the required timeline.
- Prepare basic service/site visit reports.
Requirements
- ITI / Diploma / BCA / B.Sc. / Hardware & Networking certification preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience in Hardware, Networking or IT Infrastructure.
- Basic knowledge of LAN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routers and switches.
- Knowledge of LAN cabling, RJ45 crimping and structured cabling.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and client-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel to client locations is mandatory.
- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge can apply.
