The Sachet Operator will operate and maintain sachet packaging machines, oversee production runs, perform in-process quality checks, and ensure adherence to GMP and safety protocols. The role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a minimum of 8 years relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and monitor sachet packaging machines and related auxiliary equipment.
Load and prepare packaging materials (film rolls, seals, products, liners) and verify machine settings according to production orders.
Ensure accurate filling, sealing, cutting, and alignment of sachets to meet quality standards.
Perform regular in-process checks for weight/fill accuracy, seal integrity, print alignment, and product appearance.
Record production data, batch numbers, output, and downtime in production logs and batch records.
Conduct routine cleaning, sanitization, and basic preventive maintenance as per SOPs.
Troubleshoot minor machine issues and coordinate with maintenance for major repairs.
Identify and remove defective sachets and report quality deviations to QA and supervisor.
Follow all cGMP, safety, and documentation requirements.
Train and mentor junior operators and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Education: 10th or 12th pass (high school).
Experience: Minimum 8 years working as a Sachet Operator or similar role in packaging (pharmaceutical, FMCG, or food sectors preferred).
Good knowledge of sachet packaging machinery, film handling, sealing systems, and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
Familiarity with GMP, hygiene practices, and production documentation.
Ability to read and follow SOPs, production orders, and inspection criteria.
Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and reliability.
Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
Willingness to work in shifts.
