About the Role
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Equity Research Analyst to conduct in-depth research and analysis of Indian (domestic) equities. The ideal candidate should possess strong financial analysis and valuation skills, be comfortable presenting actionable investment insights to stakeholders, and have hands-on experience in a buy-side investment environment.

Position: Equity Research Analyst
Location: Ahmedabad (Work from Office)
Shift: Monday to Saturday (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed equity research and financial analysis on listed Indian companies.
- Build, maintain, and enhance financial models, valuation frameworks, and comprehensive research reports.
- Monitor market trends, macroeconomic developments, sector performance, and company-specific news.
- Prepare investment notes, research summaries, presentations, and recommendations for internal stakeholders.
- Support investment decision-making through data-driven analysis and actionable insights.
- Participate in M&A analysis, deal structuring, due diligence, and corporate finance assignments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality research and strategic recommendations.
- Independently manage ad hoc research projects and analytical assignments within defined timelines.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in Equity Research, Investment Analysis, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, equity valuation methodologies, and capital markets.
- Hands-on experience with financial modeling and advanced Excel-based analysis.
- Exposure to Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A), deal structuring, or corporate finance concepts.
- Excellent analytical, communication, presentation, and report-writing skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-performance environment with strong attention to detail.
- Mandatory buy-side experience with organizations such as PMS, AIF, AMC, or Wealth/Asset Management firms.
- Must have worked, or currently be working, with a listed company.
- Must be a Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) or hold the CFA Charter (or have successfully cleared CFA level 3).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience covering Indian listed companies across multiple sectors.
- Knowledge of Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Refinitiv, Screener, or other financial research platforms.
- Strong understanding of corporate actions, earnings analysis, and industry trends.
- Ability to synthesize complex financial information into clear investment recommendations.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
